Something Opens Our Wings

Something opens our wings. Something
makes boredom and hurt disappear.
Someone fills the cup in front of us.
We taste only sacredness.

Dear Ruth, I have loved your daily posts of the Rumi poetry in "A Year With Rumi". I'm sending this link along to a friend of mine who is also a lover of Rumi on this day in 2011, which is her birthday.

Many blessings to you and to all who read here. This year of postings is a treasure that I refer to often. Thank you so much for the time and effort you spent on compiling it.

Oh wonderful, Sarah. Happy Birthday to your friend. And may the blessings you've given be returned to you many fold.
