Morning Wind

The morning wind spreads its fresh smell.
We must get up to take that in,
that wind that lets us live.
Breathe, before it's gone.

  1. ahhh breathe, I love it!

Funny thing, I use to buy lots of incense, I mean for twenty years plus I would go to my favorite stores and stock up on my favorites . But there came a time I didn't burn it anymore but I couldn't throw it away. I have two plastic grocery size bags full of my incense that I kept in a little wicker trunk that sits on a bureau in my closet. I came across it today and opened the trunk not remembering what was in there. Ohhhh it was an awesome smell, almost as good as a morning breeze, ha!

Imagine 50 different flavors of incense all mixed together, ha! Now I have to go outside so I can breathe some fresh air.

  2. Ohhhh, I do that all the time! Sometimes I think my lungs aren't large enough for all the air I take in.

  3. i guess it safe to say now that you English teachers make scholarly singers voices sound heavenly while strumming six stringers...

guitars that is, though sometimes I listen from a far so that nobody knows where I are there are minor delays as the electricity is quick but still has to travel if it's to carry music when there are too vast oceans of air to for the waves to travel naturally to me.

sometimes a listener's got to do what a listener has to do

At the request of a Rumi Reader, I have enabled comments, because I agree that someone, sometime might want to write about the power of Rumi's words. So many times they have met me in ways I just have to share, and so I want you to have that opportunity here. There is no expectation for comments, but please do write something if you feel the urge. ~ Ruth
